Ice skating is a graceful and beautiful sport that is fun for everyone of all ages and levels (3 years and above). Our Ice Skating programs are taught by experienced and nurturing instructors who provide skilled development lessons.

Notes
* These are group classes of 30 minutes duration followed by up to 60 minutes of practice time. Lessons are on a casual basis with no booking required, or you may purchase an 8 week semester Skate School card for $150.00. This card includes 8 Learn to Skate lessons and 8 Public Session visits to practice, and has a limited time of use (usually 6 months).

• With ice skating, students will fall over from time to time. Whilst most falls are harmless and students are taught how to fall to minimize injury, there is always the possibility, as with any sport, that a fall will result in a student injury. Students should wear the protective helmets which are available or bring their own cycling helmet. The ice is cold so students may want to bring gloves.
• Students are encouraged to wear Roller Blading elbow, knee pads and wrist guards.
• Cost is per person.

Class Evaluation

Each student will be evaluated on the first day of class to ensure that the class level matches the student's ability.
Class evaluations take place during the course of the semester. Upon evaluation, the Instructor will recommend the appropriate level for the skater's next series of classes.
