If you are looking for something a bit different to entertain your tiny tots and give them an opportunity to interact, play and participate with other children on ice, then our Playgroup program is for you!

Our qualified staff and safe surroundings provide loads of fun and an excellent experience for you and your children. At the same time it allows the parents to get out and meet our friendly ice rink staff and other parents. Details on the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink Playgroup program is below.

Note

• With ice skating, students will fall over from time to time. Whilst most falls are harmless and students are taught how to fall to minimize injury, there is always the possibility, as with any sport, that a fall will result in a student injury. Students should wear the protective helmets which are available or bring their own cycling helmet. The ice is cold so students may want to bring gloves.
• Students are encouraged to wear Roller Blading elbow, knee pads and wrist guards.
• Cost is per person.
• Parents are encouraged to participate free of charge.
• 8 weeks at a cost of $65.00 is also available.
