School Holidays

School holidays are fast approaching! Why not come down and try ice skating. It is great for your fitness and you may even decide to try Figure Skating, Speed Skating or even Ice Hockey as you become more proficient.

Our Aussie Sports Leaders will start learn to skate classes strictly at 10.00am each weekday. These classes will run for one hour and you can then skate up to 3.00pm during our public sessions to practice the skills you have learned.

This is great school holiday value at $18.00 per person for nearly 5 hours of fun.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE RINK AT LEAST 10 MINS PRIOR TO THE START OF LESSONS (say 9.50AM) TO REGISTER YOUR DETAILS AND FIT YOUR SKATES SO YOU ARE READY TO START YOUR LESSON AT 10.00AM.

Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink has been providing ice skating facilities to Sydney for over 30 years. Our highly accredited coaches continue to provide their expertise in the development of our future stars, so come and try it for yourself.

Dates: 7-11, 14-18 July 2008
Time: 10:00am to 11:00am each day.
Cost: $18.00
Age Group: From 4 years old to Adult.

Notes
• With ice skating, students will fall over from time to time. Whilst most falls are harmless and students are taught how to fall to minimize injury, there is always the possibility, as with any sport, that a fall will result in a student injury. Students should wear the protective helmets which are available or bring their own cycling helmet. The ice is cold so students may want to bring gloves. Students are encouraged to wear Roller Blading elbow, knee pads and wrist guards.

• To Enrol, please complete an enrolment form on the day.
• FREE public skating after lessons until 3:00pm for lesson participants.
